This Privacy Policy describes how Agent Capsule (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Agent Capsule at https://agentcapsule.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, we receive your email address and authentication identifiers through our auth provider (Supabase Auth). We store a corresponding user profile in our database, including your subscription plan.
Persona content you provide. You may submit agent names, descriptions, and structured persona capsules (JSON), including fields such as self-summary, traits, memory anchors, relationship models, and recovery instructions. This is the core data you choose to store in the vault.
Usage and technical data. We log events such as API calls, snapshot creation, LLM preview requests, and export actions to enforce plan limits and improve reliability. We may collect standard web logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) through our hosting provider.
Payment information. We do not store full payment card numbers. Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem (merchant of record). Creem collects billing details according to its own privacy policy. We may receive subscription status, customer identifiers, and transaction references from Creem to activate your plan.
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and maintain the Service.
- Authenticate you and enforce plan limits.
- Generate recovery prompts and optional LLM previews you request.
- Process subscriptions and respond to support requests.
- Detect abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. LLM preview and third-party AI
If you use LLM recovery preview, we send your generated recovery prompt (system context) and your test message to a configured AI gateway (for example Vercel AI Gateway routing to a model such as OpenAI GPT-4o mini). That provider processes the content under its terms. Preview is single-turn only; we do not maintain a persistent chat history for previews. Do not include secrets, government IDs, or third-party personal data in preview messages.
4. Service providers
We use trusted processors to run the Service, including:
- Supabase — authentication and Postgres database hosting.
- Vercel — application hosting (when deployed on Vercel).
- Creem — subscription billing and tax handling as merchant of record.
- AI gateway / model providers — only when you initiate an LLM preview.
These providers process data on our instructions and under contractual safeguards appropriate to their role.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain your account and vault content while your account is active. You may delete agents or your entire account where the product provides those controls. When you delete content, we remove it from active systems; backups may persist for a limited period before rotation. We may retain minimal logs and billing records as required by law or legitimate business needs.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as TLS in transit, access controls, row-level security in the database, and hashed API token storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your password and API tokens confidential.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at support@agentcapsule.app to exercise these rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
8. International transfers
We and our processors may store and process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses offered by processors.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date on this page. Material changes may be notified by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
